Update on Cruelty Case

We are in the midst of a very large cruelty case rescue in which more than 50 cats have been kept in a single home. We have many cats available for adoption but our updates may be slow as our efforts are going to keeping these cats safe and in good care. We have more than 20 cats in our shelter that are not currently on our website - but their profiles will be posted as we ensure that they are healthy and adoptable. Please contact us at (416) 249-6100 if you would like to adopt an animal.

Lenny Kravitz

Lenny is an awesome cat. We named him Lenny Kravitz because we'd already named his siblings after current music icons but we really think the name suits him. He's quietly charming - just like his pop culture counterpart and of course all of the [female] volunteers love him. He's a great cat - loves to romp around in the shelter on his nights out. He looks at you with his bright little eyes, and you just know there's a little bit of mischief buried behind the good looks. He's known to let us hold him like a baby - and if that doesn't melt your heart we don't know what will. Lenny is vaccinated and will be neutered prior to adoption.

Kiwi

Despite her good looks, Kiwi is camera shy. She has a shiny black fur coat, which matches her gorgeous and diva-esque personality. Kiwi was abandoned in an appartment building - which is no way to treat a lady! She loves to talk, and even though you wouldn't know it from her figure - she loves to eat! When Kiwi is wandering the shelter we have to hide every sign of wet cat food because it's her favourite and when she smells it there really is no stopping her! And once you meet her, there will be no stopping the love you'll have for her either. She will undoubtedly fill her future home with laughter and love - but no other animals please, Kiwi believes in feline monogamy. Kiwi is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for adoption!

Midnight

The first thing to note about Midnight is that she was surrendered with her sister Ester, and we would love it if they were adopted together. Now that we can have that out of the way, we can move onto talking about the adorable Miss Midnight. She's not as scandalous as her name would lead you to believe. In fact, she's boring in all of the best ways. In her world there's no muss or fuss, just delightful playful purr-ful moments. She has gorgeous long black fur that hides exactly how tiny she is underneath. Midnight is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and of course ready for adoption.
