A Special Thank You
We would like to thank Royal York Animal Hospital (RYAH) for their generous donation to the Etobicoke Humane Society (EHS).
RYAH organized a food donation program in their reception area, accepting gifts from their clients and staff that consisted of high quality prescription foods, nutritious treats, and pet-safe toys. Not only did they initiate this collection, they matched the dollar value of each donation and provided the EHS with $805.00 to help provide further benefits to animals in our care.
RYAH intends to make this an annual event, so mark your calendar now to visit them at 4222 Dundas Street West, just East of Royal York Road, beginning December 1st 2008 to make your donation.

URGENT - Foster Homes needed for Dogs and Cats
We are in desperate need of foster homes.
All food and veterinary care is provided, all that's left for you is to provide the love and care needed for the pet in need until a permanent home can be found.
Please contact the EHS office 416-249-6100 and leave your name and telephone number and advise whether you are interested in fostering dogs or fostering cats.
THEY NEED YOUR HELP

SPONSOR A CAGE IN THE EHS SHELTER
Would you like to sponsor a cage? If so, you will receive an annual update with pictures of the cats/kittens who have been in that cage and adopted to good homes.
$200.00 Annually to Sponsor a Cage and your name will be put on that cage as a sponsor.
Thank you for your support
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Adoption Fees:
Cats/kittens: $125.00
Dogs/puppies: $200.00
Please remember that with adults you are getting spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip identification. If you were to have all this work done on the animal, it would cost you approximately $300.00+.
Puppies and Kittens less than 6 months of age are too young to be spayed or neutered, so a $25 rebate voucher is provided upon adoption (which can be redeemed after you spay/neuter your pet).
EHS wants all the animals adopted through us to be considered part of the family, vet checked annually, loved and cared for as they deserve to be, not a material item that was free and has no value. Pets are not sale items, they are a lifetime commitment and should be considered part of the family.
--------------------------------------------------------------
MEMBERSHIP
There are three (3) categories of membership:
Regular Membership $25.00 (no voting rights)
Special Membership $50.00 (voting rights)
Honorary Lifetime Membership - bestowed on anyone who has served EHS long-term, or has gone above and beyond what is expected (no voting rights)
Along with the membership fee, a Membership Application must be completed and returned. You will receive a tax receipt and a membership card and these membership fees are paid annually.
We want to count you as one of our members.
